WE RESPECTFULLY DENOUNCE :
1. The penetration in the Unites States by Cuba 's Castro-communist dictatorship and its intelligence agencies through a so-called "CULTURAL EXCHANGE" that operates as a one-way street (from Cuba to here). This "exchange" is carried out by artists and impresarios who are fully identified with the Castro-communist dictatorship and operate in service of it.
The Castro regime's ploy of using innocent-sounding "CULTURAL EXCHANGES" with the United States as a propaganda vehicle. These "Exchanges" in fact operate as a one-way street.....
2. The creation within the United States of a "establishment" that is manipulated, directly and indirectly, by agents of influence of the Castro-communist dictatorship inside the Cuban exile with the purpose of undermining the exile's confrontational position towards the dictatorship and, as part of an intense national and international lobbying campaign, facilitate its acceptance and legitimization in the United States.
The Castro regime's ploy of planting its agents-of-influence within the Cuban-exile community. These agents then achieve "mainstream" status within the media and lobby for the legitimazation of the Castro-regime, claiming to speak for the Cuban-Exile-Community as a whole.
3. The provocations by direct agents and agents of influence of the Castro-communist dictatorship in the United States aimed at creating divisions with the Cuban exile, damaging the exile's image and displacing it from its iconic, traditional places through the use of violent street active measures by pro-Castro groups modeled on the Castros' rapid response brigades, all of which is conducive to disorder and civil unrest in our community.
The violent provocations by the Castro regime's agents-of-influence to divide the exile community, to create civil unrest and and soil it's image as "extremist." These brownshirt tactics are used by the Castro regime's "rapid-response-brigades" in Cuba itself.
4. The Castro-communist penetration through the so-called which operate under express permission and quasi-monopolistic arrangements of the Castros' dictatorship and serve as conduit for millions of dollars in remittances that end up in the hands of the dictatorship and which will increase in the near future due to the announced layoffs of large numbers of Cuba's state employees. This remittances work to the detriment of the economy in the United States and, more specifically, in Miami-Dade County where we are living in an economic situation that has led to reductions in salary and personnel of the public safety agencies of our local governments.
The Castro regime's use of " Cuba travel and delivery agencies," to channel U.S. dollars into its coffers. These U.S. based agencies work in conjuction with the Castro regime and at its behest. These transactions also deplete dollars from the Miami-Dade area that badly needs them in today's economic climate.
WE RESPECTFULLY RECLAIM:
1. Respect. Respect for the Cuban Exile. The Cuban exiles in the United States have greatly contributed to this country, its growth and its freedom, from our efforts and our work to the lives of our children, sacrificed in many wars serving in the armed forces of United States . After leaving a terrorist country, we do not want to see the agents of the Castro-communist dictatorship coming to the United States with their terrorist persecution against us and this country.
2. That the government leaders of Miami, Miami-Dade County, the State of Florida and Washington D.C., conscious of the contributions of Cuban exiles to this country, realize and understand the dangers of this penetration to our society, its economy and the institutional and civil order, which are, constantly and subtly, being threatened by this intelligence and influence agents of the Castro-communist dictatorship operating in American territory.
3. That our government leaders and elected representatives take all the necessary measures to evaluate and counter this penetration, utilizing all legal avenues and resources within their power to this effect, including the refusal to enter into contracts or deals with those agents or their representatives for the use of taxpayer-owned or financed public venues, and that our government leaders and elected representatives guarantee the public order and respect for the law in case of violent provocations by these enemy agents.
That our elected officials recognize the Castro regime's subtle influence in our community and use all legal venues to counter it. This includes denying the Castro regime use of our tax-funded venues for its propaganda campaign.
4. That the business people and impresarios that are fully identified with the Castro-communist dictatorship and operate in its service in American territory be forced to register as "foreign agents in the service of a state sponsor of world terrorism", as the Castro-communist regime has been designated by the United States Department of State.
