so we flew business class, repleat with giant personal body space, a list of numerous (fairly crap) movies, filet minion, hot towels, newspapers or magizines, limitless drinks and generally people waiting on you hand and foot. which, needless to say was a bizarre concept to crystal and i as we are accustomed to actually waiting on people hand and foot, now the shoe was on the other foot. we landed, it was super stinkin hot and humid, much to our surprise. we met some guy from nova at the airport who would give us maps and stuff and that was about it. oh ya, i forgot to mention that we were on the same flight as a bunch of glam/goth rockers who are apparently big in japan and nothing in america. it`s nice that somewhere someone always love you. we arrived at our place late and lagged. our new place smelled like a barn, as in the moldly straw smell, which isn`t that pleasent. this being because of the floors in japanese homes is made of a straw like grass called tetami, it no longer smells this way, but give it a few days without a/c and there you go. the next day we bought wonderous vintage bikes at non vintage prices and sought to see the land. i want to post lots of pictures of things i am talking about, because to me pictures are way better than words, i had not actually originally meant to write anything on this site but it would be pretty dull, you get the picture. i`ll have some later so i can once again revert to eye candy in my life and stop with this whole articulation thing. (college word).
Business Class on a Airbus A340-500 from New York to Singapore and from Los Angeles to Singapore have an iPod and iPhone support for passengers. According to the official release, passengers are able to enjoy their personal audio and video content from their iPod or iPhone on Singapore Airlines’ KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system.
Each seat will pack with a 15.4 inch widescreen LCD and a pair of noise cancelling headphones.
The integrated 9-pin connection on KrisWorld uses a unique in-flight cable that supports iPod and iPhone via the 30-pin connector, including in-seat power supply and high quality audio. iPod and iPhone will still allow for the announcements and instructions made by Singapore Airlines cabin crew and pilots to be heard even while content is being played. Customers can take advantage of iPhone’s airplane mode to safely use the iPhone through the integrated system.
This integration with Singapore Airlines’ A345 non-stop flights from Newark – Singapore start on May 15, and on the carrier’s Los Angeles – Singapore non-stops start from August.
