There are no direct flight from UK to Lviv, therefore if you are traveling to Lviv, you need to travel through Kiev. The flight duration from London to Kiev is very short, less than 3 hours. Although Kiev has a new international terminal but immigration check out time is extremely slow. Things have little changed. So be prepared to stand more than 1 or 2 hours waiting for immigration officer stamp your passport.

The domestic terminal at Kiev is much crowded than international one. There is one ATM desk at the terminal. And domestic flights are mercy on the hands of flight operator. Flights may get very late, but it seems to be very normal for domestic flight operator. But one thing for sure the Ukrainian people enjoy flight much, huge clapping occurs during take off and landing of aircraft.

Luton airport in London is the home to many low cost international mostly European airlines including wizz air which i choose to travel on this trip. This airport is accessible from London Victoria coach station, London Victoria train station central London with 1 and half hours journey time. Easybus is the cheapest bus service to Luton airport from Central London. It is possible to buy ticket online and also on board.

The first thing i noticed about this airport is far away from city center and also the airport is not crowded like other airport of London. If you miss bus or train to this airport, taxi fare would be around 60 pounds to central London. Easybus has dedicated office within the airport where you renew your ticket if you miss the bus within 1 hour, if your delay is more than hour you need to buy a new ticket for the bus

There are several bars/restaurants within the airport where you can relax and wait for your flight. The check in time is quicker than Heathrow airport. Security checking and passport control also quicker than Heathrow air port of London. But the shops in the airport are expensive as usual with other airports.
